1) A portable life insurance policy with Living benefits. If you have a policy with your employer, verify you ‘own’ your policy so you don't leave it when you retire or change employers. Living benefits (ability to use a portion of the face amount for chronic, critical or terminal illness)
2) A disability policy (short-term/long-term) as it provides up to 65% of your income if you’re not able to perform your occupational duties. This would be applicable for a long recovery from surgery, a chronic health issue meaning you’re unable to work on a full-time basis or having been diagnosed with a more critical medical condition
3) An annuity to enhance your retirement income is practical and diversifies paying taxes on your retirement income. Annuities are safe, secure and have a defined distribution schedule, so you clearly understand your income stream. *Riders for critical or long-term illness would allow you to access your assets. **Fees are according to the product as well as bonuses on your premium. Being Independent I have diverse options available.

My experiences are diverse as an Independent Consultant/Agent being appointed with numerous insurance companies. Knowing the current marketplace and seeking solutions for each person, family, or business. For over 13 years my passion is helping individuals and business owners navigate the complexities of finding the proper and affordable insurance for their needs. I don’t preach one product or one company as I do what’s best for each client.
I’ve worked with FRS employees in Miami Dade and Broward County schools by reviewing, educating, and offering savings and options to employees for starting a 403b, reviewing their paychecks, and verifying they understand the benefits that are directly drawn from their income.
Being raised in a small Midwest community taught me a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the importance of accountability. My Bachelor of Science in Education/Music Education and Master's in Adult Education has served me well as a foundation for educating, being resourceful and understanding everyone learns differently no matter their age. I’ve been residing in South Florida for 28 years and immersed myself with volunteering as a Chairperson with ACS: Broward STRIDES Against Breast Cancer for the past 10 years, being a leader and involved with different ministries in my church for 20+ years and being a member and leadership roles within my BNI chapter for the past 8 years.
I'm a Breast Cancer Thriver! With my faith, determination and resilience, I continue to follow the winding roads of my journey and savoring the small victories! Let's challenge ourselves each day to have more patience, be compassionate and practice kindness with each other. Each day is a gift~
